CNS 304N1 Stainless Steel Plate is based on 304 with the addition of nitrogen, which not only prevents its plasticity from decreasing, but also increases its strength and work-hardening tendencies, and improves its resistance to pitting and intergranular corrosion. CNS 304N1 Stainless Steel Plate is highly resistant to oxidising acids, such as nitric acid at concentrations ≤ 65% below boiling temperature.
